We’re thrilled to welcome Hannah Wagner to the BARR Advisory team. As an Associate Consultant in our Cyber Risk Advisory practice, Hannah serves on cyber risk engagements for computer software, human resources, and financial technology organizations.
A recent University of Kansas Business School graduate, Hannah takes planning, organization and project management to a whole new level and we love it. Since arriving in June, we’ve learned a great deal about our new team member and look forward to sharing this brief Q&A so you can, too.
I love the mix of independent and client work. I’m someone who enjoys interacting with people, so I appreciate any opportunity to engage, while having plenty of time to work on tasks in a more focused setting.
My organization. I love keeping things orderly and having dedicated folders for everything. Keeping on top of things like organization can feel daunting initially, but once you have a system in place, it makes doing any job or task so much more seamless.
I recently traveled to Costa Rica; it was stunningly beautiful. Mountains, beaches, the ocean, rainforests, wildlife…. What more is there?
I have two parakeets: a girl named Pepper and one named Petey (we aren’t sure if he’s a boy or girl yet, he’s a baby). I love listening to them chirp. They always come up with their own harmonies to the music I’m listening to.
The idea that we are all bigger than ourselves is really important to me. I shouldn’t just work hard at my job because of the income; rather, I should do it to be a productive and helpful part of society. I do chores at home not because it’s fun, but because it will help everyone in my household. If we all thought that way, I think the world would be a better place.
From the moment I started talking to BARR team members, I knew I had found a really special company. Not only is everyone extremely nice and friendly, but they’re also incredibly knowledgeable. I feel fortunate to work here, and I know our clients love our services, too!
